Moe (tired) is an ongoing series on fatigue, care and intimacy featuring my girlfriend, who suffers from CFS. Her condition causes severe spells of fatigue. Simply put, she sleeps a lot.
Most of the work is printed on small sized papers that fit the palm of your hand. This invites the viewer to move closer to the image, which mirrors the level of intimacy shown in the work.
The series is hand-printed on a varied collection of discontinued paper that responds differently to the chemistry sheet by sheet. In addition, I keep on processing paper through the chemistry until it’s completely exhausted, resulting in soft greyish tones.
